Natalie Garcia-Grazier

Natalie_Garcia_photo.jpgNatalie oversees CWC’s donor programs, foundation grants and government contracts. Prior to CWC, Natalie served as a Sustainable Communities Policy Specialist for the California Strategic Growth Council (SGC), designing grant programs for California's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund covering land use, affordable housing, sustainable transportation and agricultural land preservation and supporting the community engagement process. Before working for SGC, Natalie was a Program Officer for the Fresno Regional Foundation, where she helped guide strategic grantmaking on pressing issues facing the Central San Joaquin Valley, such as environmental health, land use policy, early childhood education and human services.

Natalie holds a Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communications and Journalism from California State University, Fresno, and has also worked as a reporter at the Visalia Times-Delta and The Providence Journal, where she reported on the environment as a fellow for the Metcalf Institute for Marine & Environmental Reporting. Natalie was born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley and currently lives in Santa Cruz, CA.
