Community Water Center

Community-driven water solutions through organizing, education, and advocacy

Model of Change

In order to address the multiple root causes of the water challenges facing California communities, the Community Water Center is guided by a model of change that utilizes three core strategies: Community Organizing & Capacity Building; Communications & Sharing of Information, Research & Expertise; and Advocacy. By approaching the issues in a comprehensive way, we can ensure that the solutions our communities are spearheading on the ground are locally sustainable and are accompanied by larger statewide efforts to make systemic change.
